Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026.04.07.
General Information
Bellora operates as an intermediary platform between salons (service providers) and clients (consumers). Bellora does not directly provide beauty services — the booking contract is formed between the client and the salon. This refund policy summarizes the refund terms applicable to each payment type.
Subscriptions (for salon owners)
Subscription fees are non-refundable for billing periods that have already commenced. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from the Settings menu; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. Details are provided in Section 6 of the Merchant Agreement.
Booking Payments
Refunds for booking payments are processed according to the cancellation terms set by each salon. Every salon sets its own cancellation and refund policy, which is displayed to the client during the booking process before payment. The refund amount (full, partial, or no refund) depends on the cancellation deadline and terms configured by the salon. Bellora, as an intermediary platform, is not responsible for the salon's refund decisions.
Gift Cards and Packages
The terms of gift cards and service packages (validity, usability, refunds) are determined by the issuing salon in compliance with applicable consumer protection regulations. For refund-related questions, please contact the respective salon directly.
SMS Credits
SMS credit purchases are final. SMS credits are non-refundable and non-transferable to other salons. Details are provided in Section 7 of the Merchant Agreement.
Tips
Tips are voluntary payments that go directly to the salon's staff member. Tips are non-refundable.
Right of Withdrawal (14 days)
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. This right of withdrawal does not apply to services whose performance has begun at the consumer's express request before the expiry of the 14-day period. For appointment bookings, the salon's service is governed by the contract between the salon and the client.
Disputes and Complaints
For payment-related disputes, please first contact the respective salon. If you are unable to resolve the issue with the salon, Bellora's customer support can assist with mediation. For consumer protection complaints, you may contact the Pest County Conciliation Body or the European Union's Online Dispute Resolution Platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
