ImprovedBooking & calendar
Fewer hiccups in your daily work
In September we again fixed a batch of small but annoying issues across booking, payments, notifications and the apps.
- Dark mode in the Bellora app: the salon page and the booking flow now support it, and iOS controls and the tab bar follow the theme.
- Currencies: in euros and Swiss francs, late-cancellation and no-show fees and the deposit shown while booking no longer round away the cents – the amount shown matches the amount charged.
- Amounts and dates: amounts, dates and times in notifications now follow the recipient's language format, with a 12- or 24-hour clock.
- Notifications: 22 kinds of staff notifications now open the right screen when tapped, and guests are notified when you swap a service in their booking.
- Payment status: every payment status – refunded, failed, deposit – now has its own badge in the calendar and on the booking, and bookings fully paid with a coupon or gift card show as paid.
- More reliable booking: stuck unpaid bookings are released, waitlist entries no longer get stuck, automation no longer overrides what you fixed by hand, and the last day of the booking window can be booked.
- Mobile keyboard: the keyboard no longer covers fields or the Save button, and multi-line fields respond to a tap anywhere.
- Time zone: time-off checks use the salon's local date, so bookings around midnight are handled correctly.
- Phone numbers: an invalid number now gives a clear error, and booking normalises the format so SMS reaches the guest.
- Add to calendar: guests can choose which calendar (Google, Apple and others) to add the appointment to, and stricter calendar apps now accept it.
- Subscription and billing: billing details save with browser autofill, changing plans no longer double-charges, switching to Free asks for confirmation and can be undone, and an expired subscription shows a clear notice and a read-only mode.
- Statistics: if data fails to load, you see a retry button instead of a false zero or “No data yet”.
- Security: you get an email when your password changes.
- iOS 27: the apps no longer crash on launch on iOS 27.
